The environment is great! The room is also very comfortable. It is very convenient to book a tour directly from the hotel. We took a jeep to explore the jungle to find animals, took a canoe to see crocodiles in the morning, and rode a bike to see the local village in the afternoon. The arrangement was thoughtful and rich, and it was super cost-effective. Highly recommended!

This hotel is inside the country park so you have to hire a car to go in and out. So you need to stock up with snacks and sweets before coming in. So, the only option you have is to take their package to the activities. I see tourists inside this hotel but mostly on tour, having their own packages. As travellers not bound by any travel agency, our choice is limited to: Jeep safari + canoeing. you can have the Tuala tribe dance and bbq snacks if you add more. Before signing up, I thought I could have more like jungle walk, ride on the elephant into the jungle, etc… outside the hotel is the country park so you can hear the animals at night which is good. But since there are trees, you quite can’t see the river from the balcony so it is not like you sit in the balcony and you can see the river and animals right outside. This hotel is first class for the cleanliness and the room. But for travellers, probably staying outside the country park has more options. My bf and I did not take their buffet lunch or dinner (which cost 2500rs / person) but insisted on a-la-cart. The food is not bad. And there are many waiters and waitresses to serve you.

We had a fantastic stay at Soaltee Chitwan, the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Our safari guide Naran was amazing and, as a local, very well informed on the culture and wildlife of Chitwan. We saw many rhinos, crocodiles, deer, bears, birds, boar and even a tiger which was an absolute highlight!

Naran, our Gide was the best. Pool is very good. Rooms are comfortabel as well as the beds. Very clean. they didn't inform us that there is no buffet, because there not enough guests. But good was good. Staff was overly present. you have no privacy in the dining room. They must relax.

Staff in the restaurant went above and beyond, provided a truly 5 star service. In particular Pradeep, Bishal, chef Amar, Madhav, Anjali and Kriti were absolutely incredible in every way. The hotel ambience is 5 star, however the shower needs a door or curtain. The bath is unnecessary.

This hotel is really good gateway in Chitwan and has really good swimming pool and spacious room. Hotel had issues with check-in but later they managed good room for us. Food was okay.
